Day CareALL PETS MUST HAVE ALL VACCINATIONS: RABIES, DISTEMPER/PARVO, BORDATELLA, INFLUENZA (H3N2/H3N8) All vaccines must be current for the time of the appointment and administered by a vet. Unfortunately, at this time THT is not accepting any vaccines given at home or from a feed store. We have created a balanced approach to dog day care that ensures your peace of mind while your pet enjoys optimal levels of play and socialization. Because dogs do not naturally play or socialize for eight or more hours a day, forcing your pet into playgroups for lengthy periods can be both stressful and physically challenging. It is essential that your dog has a private space and quiet time during the day between play sessions. Our day care matches dogs based on age, physical activity and personality traits. Some dogs in day care enjoy sniffing, barking, chasing and general canine dog-foolery! Other dogs simply prefer the contact and company of humans while their owner is at work. At Three Happy Tails’ day care each guest receives its own private space for eating, sleeping, lounging or some good old-fashion dog-watching! Our dog playgroups are always supervised to ensure we can effectively monitor your dog’s play and help ensure all dog interactions remain polite and stress-free, while giving them many opportunities to interact safely with their puppy pals. Three Happy Tails offers indoor and outdoor play areas for all dogs participating in day care. All pets must complete an introductory meet and greet to test their temperament before being allowed to enroll in our day care program. Our indoor play areas are almost 2,000 sqft. Our outdoor play areas are over 2,500 sqft, featuring elevated turf. We also can’t forget about our colorful agility equipment available! You will have access to live-feed cameras that view all of the indoor and outdoor play areas during play time. This guarantees you can check in on your pup having the time of their life! What to bring to THT for Day care:
*All dogs require registration, proof of current vaccinations, and a personality test prior to attending day care. Dogs older than 6 months in age must be spayed or neutered for regular day care. Typical Daily Schedule7:00 – 9:00 am - ARRIVALS
The dog checks in with its day care buddies. Any belongings they bring are placed into their cubby. 8:00 – 11:30 am - MORNING ACTIVITIES
The dog will participate with their friends in ball-fetching, chasing games, wrestling, climbing, tunnel running and many special activities we schedule from time to time. 11:00 – 11:30 am - Breaks and feedings
When we distribute snacks, lunches, and cookies as dogs start taking their rest times. 11:30 – 1:30 pm - breaks and feedings continue
Dogs continue rotation for naps and breaks. This is important quiet time as the dogs have had a very active morning and will need to relax and recharge. We never want a dog to get over stimulated or too wound up. Breaks provide a nice distraction and reset during day care. 1:30 – 5:00 pm - AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES
In the afternoon, the dog will experience a slower pace of play, just as much fun but with less vigor. 5:00 – 7:00 pm - general pick up time
Day care dogs leaving to go home spend this time relaxing and getting cleaned up if necessary. 6:00 – 7:00 pm - closing
Each dog unwinds and relaxes as staff starts closing down the facility and preparing for the next day of play! |
